David Dallof
David Dallof is the president. Upon graduation from Weber State University, with a degree in Business Administration in 1975, David began his professional selling career. Before graduation, he worked in various positions in the plumbing and construction industry. During the eighties, he developed Petrolex Corporation into a major holder of oil and gas properties in the western United States. Petrolex merged with FX Energy, an active exploration company in the Western States and Europe. He assisted FX Energy in becoming public and it now trades on the NASDAQ system. During his career, he has held the position of salesman, Xerox trainer, regional manager, and VP in sales and marketing. David has an in-depth knowledge of selling and negotiating skills. He prides himself on maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Ken Hall
Ken Hall manages sales for PowerQuip in Utah, Idaho, and a portion of Wyoming. Prior to joining PowerQuip, Ken was sales manager for Fastenal, the leading supplier of industrial fasteners and accessories supplies. Under Ken's direction, his branch had the distinction of being named to the Fastenal million-dollar club in the shortest period of time. His branch was also named the most profitable branch in the United States for 1996. At PowerQuip, Ken specializes in working with industrial customers on boiler optimization, cleaning, control, and management issues. Due to his efforts, PowerQuip has been awarded several major optimization and cleaning projects. These projects require a great amount of communication, management, and trust. Ken's forthright nature and honesty have allowed him to become a team member with many of our customers. These talents combined with his marketing degree from Weber State University provide the perfect recipe for customer solutions and a successful career at PowerQuip.
Sean Raborn
Sean Raborn joined PowerQuip in July of 2004. Sean manages our Denver Sales Office. He is responsible for PowerQuip's sales efforts in Colorado, portions of Wyoming, Northern Arizona, and Northern New Mexico. Sean has a mechanical engineering degree from the Virginia Military Institute. Upon graduation in 1990 he began his career with Framatome ANP, Inc. Sean worked over 14 years with Framatome. He has held various positions including Project Engineer Valve Services, Managing Field Engineer, Manager Ultra Check Diagnostics and Business Manager at Sterns RogerTM Services. Over the years he has acquired an extensive array of skills including high level selling, product development, contract negotiations, strategic planning, proposal development and presentation. Sean lives in Castle Rock, Colorado. He is an avid mountaineer, mountain biker, and private pilot. The PowerQuip family is excited to work with Sean. Sean's desire to unleash his talent, entrepreneurial spirit, and love of Colorado led him to PowerQuip.
Abe Kearl
Abe Kearl is a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate from the University of Utah. During college Abe worked as an Excavation Technician planning water drainage projects and as a Utah State Trail Ranger. During his last year of school Abe was employed by the Department of Energy. At the DOE he researched energy consumption issues for large power consumers. In this capacity he looked for opportunities to reduce energy consumption and calculated return on investments allowing management to make a well informed decision regarding capital purchases. Abe’s studies included conversions to high efficient lighting, boiler tuning, and HVAC upgrades. Recently Abe has been deeply involved with our process customers handling pollution control projects and expanding PowerQuip’s product line up into broader industrial applications. Abe’s engineering background and devotion to solving problems allow him to find and implement the best solutions for our customers in the industrial market.
Jan Lewis
Jan Lewis manages the inside operations at PowerQuip. Jan brings her twenty-three years of customer service experience to the PowerQuip team. Jan graduated from Fullerton College in California and received her diploma in business. Jan was previously the administrative assistant to the President of US Agri-Chemicals, a phosphate mining company in Florida. This experience has taught Jan valuable insights and skills that allow her to better serve PowerQuip's customers. Here at PowerQuip Jan is responsible for working with the customer on a one-to-one basis, specifying part orders with manufacturers, and keeping the office well organized. Jan understands that excellent customer service is the foundation of PowerQuip's success.
Troy Haun
Troy Haun is responsible for administration and inside sales for PowerQuip. Troy graduated from Weber State University with the honor of Outstanding Graduate in Marketing. Troy has gained valuable sales experience while working for Marketstar, an outsource marketing and sales company which services accounts for Sony, HP, and Intel. Troy worked there as an Inside Sales Representative for Xircom. He directed resellers in the Great Lakes and Midwest regions. Troy is excellent at handling difficult customer service relation problems. Strong and creative sales people create administrative responsibilities, which are demanding and diverse. The puzzle of tracking, accounting, billing, and customer communication is put together by Troy.
